It was previously announced on the site that the Gold Coast contest dates would be September 7th and 8th.  This is the information that was provided to me.  It appears that what was actually intended is that the contest be for the weekend of Sept 8th, which is actually Sept 8th & 9th, which are the new "official" contest dates.

You will also notice that I am now calling it the Gold Coast Contest (the name for the first Slotstik contest in the area).  I did this because it is no longer clear whether Slotstik will be participating as a primary sponsor for this contest.  Word is that the contest will go on with or without Slotstik.  I will report any further developments.
