I just got off the phone with Miles Grobman and the Santa Cruz contest will go off tomorrow as scheduled.  If you are planning on attending you may want to arrive early.  Beach entries are being accepted at 7:30 AM and competition is scheduled to start at 8:00 AM.  If you are just going to watch you still might want to arrive early because the pros are scheduled to ride early in the morning unless the waves look like they will be better later in the day.

I won't be attending personally but SkimOnline.com has a couple of correspondents who will be able to keep us informed of what is going on.
