By this point you have probably seen the downhill skateboard competition in one of the Bryan Bros video's.  It has been an annual event in Laguna for years now.  What was once a serious winner take all event has evolved into something a little more light hearted.  Whereas in the past the first one to the bottom was the "winner", this year will focus more on innovative preparation, rather than daredevil speed.  Prizes will be given out for best costume and best ride.  The best costume award is pretty self explanatory.  The 'best ride' (aka 'best float') award will be given to the entrant with the best ride down the hill.  Possible entries include big wheels, couches mounted to skate trucks, etc...  Everything and the kitchen sink is fair game.  Good luck to all.  Competition begins at 3:30 PM.
