 Vilano Contest Updates July 19, 2001 Here is the latest from Steve Pullara regarding the Vilano Contest. First and most importantly the entry deadline has been pushed back to July 26th. So if you want to compete you had better enter right away! The contest is scheduled to start around 5PM on friday for the Pros, Juniors, Mens and Seniors. Competition will resume the following morning around 8AM. There will be a break around low tide which occurs midday and then the competition will start again around 4PM. This unique schedule is designed to make sure all riders get to compete in the best conditions possible.
At 9:00 pm saturday they will show 2 movies, 1st - 2001 Skim Odyssey :
Florida Skimboarders Crossover Tour, it will be a short preview of the
movie, clips from the skate board event and wave pool surfing event
and the parties. Produced by Run Drop Slide, inc., 10 ST BROS., Red
Bull Energy Drink. 2nd - Name to be announced from 10 St. Bros.
