The next installment in a line of high quality skimboard videos is about to be released.  On Thursday Oct 3rd at the movie theater in downtown Laguna, skimboarders will finally get a look at one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year.

"5 Pounds Lighter" is the first release from Leaf Productions.  Leaf is comprised of a bunch of South Laguna groms who do little besides film, skim, and light stuff on fire (okay, they do their homework too).  They have been doing a ton of filming in and around South Laguna for well over a year now and they are finally putting it all together into what promises to be a sick skim film.

Two showings are scheduled for Thursday evening, one at 7:15 and one at 8:15.  Tickets will go on sale at the box office in front of the theater around 3PM.  The first one will probably sell out.  Admission is five bucks.  Those who are willing to fork over the cash can expect to see the following riders:
