Notes:  So much can be said about Paulo.  This wonder kid is fresh off of a stellar 2002 contest season.  After several top four finishes, video segments in the latest skim flicks and a Skim Mag cover, he has become a household name in the skimboarding world.  And with good reason.  Paulo is the kind of skimboarder who does things that are undeniable.  He is constantly pushing himself to pull things that are new and different.  As and example, his signature move is called a Jelly Jar and looks a lot like a Christ Air, on a skimboard.  Not exactly a backside wrap.  Another thing about Paulo that is really impressive is his ability to keep his speed on the water.  His ability to travel over the water and work a wave for all its worth is perhaps second only to that of Bill Bryan.  And having plenty of speed means you can carry a bigger bag of tricks.  Don't worry about having to look out for Paulo in the future, you won't have to.
