Ichigohama is one of the famous surf-spots.

Shore break at morning and evening, everyday.
Very beautiful location for take your girl-friend also.
To access by car
:
Take a 260 road from Ago-cho in Shima-gun.
Turn the left next to Jomo/Kouga-Gas station.
To access by train
:
Ugata-station of Kintetsu.
Take a taxi from station.
Takasu Beach
The best season would have to be mid summer, or
early winter (cold as hell though), But I prefer early winter coz of the
awesome breaks. It doesn’t get very crowded, Every now and again there
is the odd fisher man confused to what I’m doing....but other than
that its cool.
By car get on route 315 and make a turn (right or left
depending on which way you are coming from)at the fire station, There is
a big sign by the fire station. And if you get lost you can just ask
where it is the people are friendly enough, and its well known in that
area.
