Things I Liked:  This video is different.  There are different waves, different riders, and different moves.  There are a lot of really sick shuvits in this video as well as point break riding, which calls for an entirely different style of skimboarding.  The music is mostly good.  It is good to see the Santa Cruz boys tearing up their home turf.

Things I Didn't Like:  Overall, the waves in this video are not as good as those found in other videos currently available.  Almost all the waves are small (relatively) and this homogeny slows the video down.  It would be good to see the Santa Cruz boys skimming some other spots.

Detailed Notes:  The first segment is set to a classic Rage Against the Machine song.  Although the first few waves are kind of boring, the level of skimming picks up with the tempo of the song.  There are some good waves in this segment and some appearances by riders you might be more familiar with such as Bill Bryan and Eric Christensen.

Ben K. is featured in the next segment.  He is shown riding what appears to be 26th St. in Santa Cruz, the spot where the annual contest is held.  There are some decent waves here, but nothing mind blowing.  Overall, kind of "ho hum".

Jared Sullivan is up next.  This segment features a lot of point break riding.  The point break rides are long and give a good opportunity for tricks, but get boring after a while because the waves are always pretty small.

Dave Medal is shown next in what appears to be more 26th street footage.  Again, there are some nice rides here, but nothing spectacular.

Craig Potter who I believe is a San Francisco local is shown next.  His segment is set to a classic Sublime song and is pretty cool.  There are some nice point break waves but also some rare footage of him skimming Fort Point, under the Golden Gate bridge.  Some good rides too.  Small waves though.

Miles Grobman is shown next throwing some pretty sick shuvits and skimming both point breaks and straight waves.  Good segment.

And finally we come to footage of Rockys.  Rockys is a semi-secret point break in the Santa Cruz area.  This segment declares that the footage is from 1989 but I am pretty sure this is a typo.  No matter.  The segment is set to a song by Rob D which can be found on The Matrix soundtrack.  Seeing as how The Matrix is one of the coolest movies ever, this segment cant fail.  The point break waves at Rockys are bigger and more powerful than some of the ones we had seen.  This segment is pretty good despite some cheesy graphics at the beginning and end.......  :)

In closing, I would not go out and buy this video instead of Area 949 or anything.  But if you already own those videos you might want to check this out.  Overall, the quality of waves/waveriding is not as good, but it is good to see some different riders skimming some different waves.
