First of all, Flow is not your usual skimboarding video.  All filming takes place in the Virgin River outside St. George Utah where there is clearly a thriving inland skimboarding scene.  There are no waves in this video, it is all about the flatland.

Most of the footage is filmed over a few summer days during a local skimfest.  Young and old turnout to have a great time skimboaring hundreds of miles from the nearest ocean.

Of course there are no waves so riders have to get creative.  There are the usual shuvits, 360's and bigspins in addition to some not so usual handstands, flips (in 1 inch water off of the wake of another skimboard) and even some guy skimming off a 5 foot waterfall.  I was truly impressed by some of the females skimming in the video too who were often as good or better than the men.

The video is only about half skimboarding though and there are a lot of interviews with local riders, many of whom are kids.  This gives the video a family oriented vibe and keeps the sand sliding shots from getting too repetitive.

All in all this was not your latest Bryan Bros film by any means, but honestly, I enjoyed watching it.  And I think many of you would too.  I have avoided giving it a rating since I really have nothing to compare it to.  It is the only video of its kind that I know of.
